Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 10 August 2026

This policy applies to StudyVest Pro monthly, annual and gift purchases made directly through the StudyVest website.

Cancellation

Recurring monthly and annual subscriptions can be cancelled through the account billing page and the secure subscription-management link supplied by the payment provider. Cancellation prevents the next renewal. Access normally remains available until the end of the paid billing period.

First-purchase refund window

A user may request a refund within seven calendar days of the first monthly or annual StudyVest Pro purchase. StudyVest may ask for the payment reference and account email to locate the transaction. This voluntary policy does not reduce any rights available under applicable law.

Renewals

Recurring renewal payments are generally not refundable after the new billing period begins, except for duplicate charges, unauthorised transactions, a material failure to provide the paid service or where applicable law requires a remedy. Cancel before the renewal date to prevent the next charge.

Gift access

An unredeemed gift purchase may be refunded within seven calendar days of purchase. A redeemed gift is generally not refundable because access has been activated for the recipient, except where law requires otherwise or a technical error prevents delivery.

Duplicate or unauthorised charges

Report the matter immediately through the contact page and select “Billing or refund”. Include the StudyVest payment reference and account email, but never send a full card number, password or one-time PIN.

Processing

Approved refunds are returned through the original payment route where possible. Payment-provider and bank processing times may affect when the amount appears. StudyVest will communicate the status using the account email.

Contact

Submit requests through the contact page or email hello@studyvest.co.za. Keep the payment reference shown in the account billing history.
