Corrections Policy
Last updated: 4 August 2026
StudyVest corrects material errors as promptly and transparently as possible.
How corrections are handled
- Minor typographical errors may be corrected without a notice.
- Material factual changes should include a visible correction or update note.
- Developing stories should display an updated timestamp when new reliable information changes the explanation.
Report an error
Use the contact form and select “Article suggestion” or “Other”. Include the page title, the statement in question and a reliable supporting source.
Case-status updates
For accountability reporting, StudyVest keeps material legal-status changes attached to the original briefing. This includes formal charges, withdrawn cases, judgments, convictions, acquittals, appeals and official corrections.
Earlier wording is reviewed when a later development changes the fairness or accuracy of the story.
